Yamba River Market

The Yamba River Market is on the 4th Sunday of the month and is located at Ford Park on the foreshores of the Clarence River. The market trades from 8am till 2pm and features local and regional food, craft, art and performing artists in a village atmosphere.

 

Yamba - Angourie Surf School
Learn from a professional. Private, group and school surfing are all catered for at Yamba-Angourie surf school. The owner Jeremy Walters ( Australian Champion and professional surfer ) has the expertise and experience to teach beginners, intermediate and advanced surfers of all ages.Yamba-Angourie surf school is licensed by Surfing Australia and Clarence Valley Council.

Come and enjoy a Kayak tour with us on the beautiful Clarence River. On all our tours we explain the history of the area paddled as well as the river environment. We supply a great morning tea consisting of home made cake, fresh fruit, local brewed coffee, tea and Milo. For the person who wants to do their own thing, kayaks are available for hire on the Clarence as well as Lake Wooloweyah.

Clarence River Boat Hire, Yamba

Clarence River Boat Hire
The BBQ boats are situated at Yamba Marina and can be hired for 1/2 a day or a full day. On board all boats there is a BBQ, toilet, esky and bbq utensils. You do not require a boat licence when hiring a boat.

Clarence River Ferries

Come and relax on the beautiful Clarence River on the Northern NSW Coast. We operate a daily commuter service between Yamba and Iluka at the mouth of the Clarence River. Scenic cruises operate 3 days a week, dolphins often sighted along the way. Wednesday and Friday with a historical commentary to Harwood Island a 30 km round trip and  Sunday Live Jazz. Delicious homemade food and licensed bar available.

Yamba Museum

Historic Yamba - take a step back in time. The award-winning Yamba Museum, operated by the Port of Yamba Historical Society, is located within the heart of Yamba. The museum, its displays and collection are evidence of the settlement of Yamba and its strong maritime history. Visitors are invited to make use of the research facilities on offer including the extensive photographic collection, publications available for purchase and impressive knowledge of the museum volunteers.

Yamba Golf & Country Club

The Raymond Laurie, SPORTS CENTRE, Yamba

The Raymond Laurie, SPORTS CENTRE
State of the art sporting stadium, situated in the heart of Yamba’s sporting facilities. The centre has: a 2 court stadium, meeting rooms, dance room, conference rooms and a gym. There are many activities available at the Raymond Laurie Sports Centre these include: Basketball, Volleyball, Badminton, Futsal, Netball, Table tennis, Handball, T-ball, Indoor Tennis, Fitness classes, Personal training, Kids birthday parties and Roller skating. The centre is open Monday to Friday and weekends by arrangements.
